How To Use The New Blog
July 13, 2008 / 6:19 pm • By Dr. Melissa ClouthierHey folks,
After weeks of work and tweaking and changing and fooling with the back end and things you can’t see, the blog is nearly finished. I say nearly, because, like everything in my life, it’s never finished–it’s evolving and hopefully getting better.
I’m going to explain a few things and keep this post up for the week. The left column has featured articles–those are the ones that have more commentary or are more important. If you want to comment on them, click on the title and there you go. You’ll also see, in the middle column, a list of blog posts. There’s more, usually, on every post. Again, click on the title, and you can read the whole thing. A neat thing happens when you click on a post–related posts come up. So, if you click on a post about Obama, anything I’ve written about him lately will come up in a new column called “Related Posts”. In the right-hand column, you’ll see “Read This”. These are direct links to articles, posts, etc. that I think are cool but either don’t have the time or inclination to blog about. I come across lots of interesting stuff in my wanderings and love sharing it. If you find something that you think I should pass along, email me at drmelissa1@gmail.com and I’ll post it.
Please don’t neglect my Blogroll. To conserve space and for clean design, it’s rolled up. But I have the BEST blogroll on the web. The bloggers are all interesting, incredible people and worthy of reading. I’m picky about my blogroll and have it organized in what I think is an easy-to-navigate way. Also, I update it regularly. So check it out!
At the top, there are new tabs. I’ll be updating my pictures, so check them out. Am I missing something that you want? Let me know. I aim to please.
