Seriously, though, as a happily married man I have a simple two-step plan to avoid them, were they ever to deign to even speak to me, let alone flirt with me.

1. Go to work (and work)
2. Go home when work is over

If they can’t find me, they can’t tempt me, and I save a lot of money not going to places where this could happen.

I’m gonna go out on a limb and say that it doesn’t strike me as condescending. First off, while it talks about women resisting temptation from single men, there is no such martial status suggested later on for men, leading me to believe they are talking about married men or at least men in relationships. If this was talking about single men than I doubt many men would even bother resisting.
I don’t doubt that men in relationships (and who want to stay in said relationships) might plan out what to do in a woman they found attractive started hitting on them. While their plans are probably not as specific as ‘leap out nearest window and call my Adulterers Anonymous sponsor’ I do think that the planning is basically practicing to resist cheating.

To pretty much echo the first comment, it strikes me as stupid. More men are not going to even try to resist temptation from a woman (more than token resistance, anyway), and the ones who are actually interested in resisting her advances, will probably be able to do so. The rest won’t care about this advice anyway.

No, it strikes me as absurd. If she is a good looking temptress, why are you resisting? Hell, if she introduced herself as a Succubus sent by Beelzebub, I’m still working on a plan to get her back to my cave of celibacy.
