Melissa, I want to point out that Mohammed was of THIS world. There is the biblical passage that says a Christian is in this world, but not part of it. That is what the mystery of Jesus Christ life, death and resurrection is all about. Mohammed, and I am sorry to write this to those that adhere to the Islamic faith, was a pedophile. Then, and now.

There’s a Nigerian proverb that goes:

“When the mouse laughs at the cat, there’s a hole nearby”

This applies especially to “progressive” courage. A professor, for example, is likely to feel very brave when denouncing the President, the American people, and Western civilization. But he likely has two mouse holes available:
tenure, and the knowledge that most of the professional peers he cares about have the same opinion that he does.
