Rape is always wrong! A person is being sent to jail to be punished- and being denied there freedom for commtting a crime. That and only that should be there punishment! They should NEVER be raped..period. Anyone doing a rape should have be put into a harsher hail cell- and serve additional time for that crime-if they are found guilty ! The author is right! Murder is murder. It doesn't matter who the victim is. It's not "cruel and unusual punishment", however, because it is not an officially imposed punishment.
