To him, reasonable people could not differ. A person who didn't agree with attaching the "marriage" moniker to a gay union was a bigot. Since then, he has seemed to be on a one-man mission to destroy the conservative movement from within. He is no longer a conservative, if he ever was, though. He has become a leftist caricature. Willing to go where tabloids fear to tread. It is difficult to tell the difference between Sullivan and Perez Hilton these days. The latter deserves respect: he is clear about his job. It's a sad fact for myself who saw him early on as a role model and proof that I could be gay and conservative.
