I wonder why Joe the plumber was so concerned about the taxes that he might hypothetically pay when, as it turns out, he owes back taxes. Seems that he’s not going to pay taxes anyway. Actually, I agree with this sentiment, though probably not for the same reasons. I would like to suspend my tax payments because I’m sick of my money going to KBR, Halliburton and Bechtel in Iraq (you know, McCain’s 100 year plan), and I’m also pissed about the corporate welfare plan. Like good Joe, I would like to stop paying, but I’ll go to jail, because unlike Joe and his boss, I’m a licensed contractor. BTW, for all of you that are crapping on Obama for ruining Joe’s life, take a look at the debate transcript and count the number of times that McCain mentions his name. If Joe is pissed, he knows who to call.
