But you're headline is misleading, the working poor certainly doe pay taxes. Even without income tax, FICA, sales, gas and other taxes, are a large part of their income. I have not researched it, but I wouldn't be surprised if it isn't higher than millionaires who live off of investment income. The Wall Street journal makes a good point.
