I still say the polls are being skewed for a double purpose – to try to make conservatives and Republicans dispirited so they won’t vote, AND to give Democrats something to point to as they scream that McCain stole the election if The One loses.

Even with all of the high rolling money-maggots like T. Boone Pickens and Richard Mellon Scaife pumping cash into the RNC Obama is still ahead in the fund raising. Why is that do you suppose?

Uh, maybe because his campaign disabled the Address Verification System, so that people could donate under multiple names and addresses, bypassing donation limits and making a mockery of the reporting of campaign donations?

I could not care less that he decided against the public financing. As a matter of fact I applaud him for it because for the first time in what… 200 years, the DEMOCRATS have the monetary advantage over the corporatist backed Republican party. Even with all of the high rolling money-maggots like T. Boone Pickens and Richard Mellon Scaife pumping cash into the RNC Obama is still ahead in the fund raising. Why is that do you suppose? Because he is the better candidate with the better message and he has WON in the marketplace of ideas. Isn’t that you guys guiding light? If it sells then it MUST be good? Well the way Obama is raising money he must fart Channel No 5 and crap platinum bars.

This just in: the McCain campaign raised a buck twenty five in indian head nickels, steel pennies, and a beaver pelt.

Now don’t get me wrong – I am for MANDATORY public financing for ALL parties involved with NO OPTING OUT ALLOWED. But as long as the Republican money machine is out there producing their swiftboat bullcrap and using their churches to preach from the pulpits and raise illegal lucre then I’m afraid I really don’t care one little bit that Obama decided NOT to tie one hand behind his back before the fight began.

I certainly noticed the “ick”. All I could think is that, with all the money spent on that informercial, everyone in my entire TOWN could have had their rent/mortgage paid this month.
