		<description>I doubt if Steve Jobs would be successful running one of the big-3 auto companies. For one thing, I don&#039;t think he has any experience in a union environment, and would probably find it unbearably frustrating. For another, Mr J clearly values a sales organization that is dedicated to selling his company&#039;s products effectively...this is scarcely the situation with the auto dealership network that now exists, and in-place contracts plus state franchise laws make this very difficult to change. Finally, changing the culture of an existing organization is in many ways more difficult than building a good culture from scratch.</description>
