"If an election result is close, the Democrats will find a way to take the election". Wow Doc, did your brain get cooked spending too much time in the Australian sun? Apparently that part of your brain that should have remembered the 2000 election got left behind over there. I usually have more respect for you, but that's one of the most ridiculous statements to ever come from your keyboard. The next most ridiculous comment is about the "limited goverment" aspect of your party. Do you really believe this? I'm hoping you meant this as a wish list for your party, because currently nothing could be farther from the truth. Bush spent like a drunken sailor in a Phillipine whorehouse, and all we got for it was this lousy recession (I especially loved the $4.50 gal fuel prices over the summer. Great for those of us who rely on commercial vehicles as part of our business). You're right on one count though; Al Franken is not your issue. Your party's refusal to look at itself in the mirror and reconcile it's differences with it's supposed values is.
