They got it wrong every time. The reporters want an angle and they usually don't understand the way things work in their stories. I don't even watch the news anymore. It's of no value. And, of course, when the word ‘liberal’ came to be a pejorative word, you began to wonder, you have to say that the press doesn’t want to be thought of as merely liberal. But people tend to be more liberated in their thought when they are closer to events and know a little more about what the background of what’s happening. This is probably good. Everyone is biased. Bias isn't necessarily bad. Deceiving people so that they think you are objective...that's the problem. I think we would be better off if reporters and news organizations were honest about what their biases are.
