One of my best friends is from England and I just forwarded this article to her asking her to give me some feedback. This is very frightening.

I am reading a book on Mao’s Proletarian Cultural Revolution right now and when I think of all the gang ups on one individual, I stand amazed at the cowardice acts people like that engage in. They gain their strength from their group. How utterly sad and pathetic this is.

America faces a crossroads and most Americans know it. They know that the state invading every aspect of life from constipation to thermostat setting to TV type elevates the state over the individual. If God isn't making the rules for America, god, in the form of Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, and Barack Obama, the Triune of I-Know-Better-Than-You-What-Is-Good-For-You will be making the rules. For another perspective on this movie, I suggest reading John Rosenthal's review titled "Inglourious Basterds: A German Fantasy, Not a ‘Jewish’ One". Rosenthal posits that the movie is written to make the Germans look sympathetic, and the joke is on the buffoonish Americans--who are neither cultured nor competent and barbaric to boot. My latest Pajamas Media column practically wrote itself this last weekend and could have been twice as long. The column discusses how feminists are a-ok with misogyny as long as conservative women are the recipients. It's summed up nicely in the bumper sticker, "They're not women! They're Republicans!"
