Not all feminists are like that. Oh an Melissa, you whine about the "totalitarian feminists who beat you up and chase you out of town," The only reason they do that is because you let them. And then you betray the movement, why? Because a few feminists were a little rude? Shame on you! Imagine if Martin Luther King had turned against the Civil Rights Movement because Malcome X criticised him.
The reason feminism is in trouble is because of cowardly women who betray the movement and endorse misogyny all because they were called a few names.
Oh, and as for feminist hypocrisy...why don't you show us all one time Conservatives defended Hillary Clinton?

"When people think feminists they think man-hating, abortion-loving, children-resenting, big-mouthed butch lesbians."

Because the above is what feminists truly are.

For me the straw that broke the camels back was when Bush signed the IMBRA law forcing US males to be background checked before being allowed to say hello to women outside the country. This was the reverse of the Expatriation Act of 1907 where a male-dominated US Congress decided that US women should not be trying to date and marry the men of the Austro-Hungarian superpower that then existed.

What happened is the left wing feminists completely took over "Christian" groups with the canard that US men who might want to date a little outside the US were "sex tourists" or those who wanted to "buy wives". The VAWA law this is attached to basically gives hundreds of millions of $ per year to keep feminist lawyers well fed and active.

That is not "small-government" - but I don't believe for a second that Republican feminists will want to do away with that nor will anyone say anything about how federal funding of a social program like adult abstinence ed is no different from liberal funding of social programs.

Where women are given control of both parties, the Bar Association, the media and the courts, you can expect they won't be fair about letting men have the right to say hello to and date whomever they please.

At least men can be happy that newspapers are dying fast. I can write a book about how newspapers like the NYTimes were completely unfair in dealing with men about VAWA/IMBRA in the past few years since they were passed.

Melissa,

Not only can feminism not be saved, but the kind you talk about is growing. Ignore it at your peril, but these women are in charge of the educational system and the legal system. They've thrown enough shit on the wall over the years that some of their philosophy has stuck to many, if not most, young women in this country. I see it all the time with the students where I work at. It's simply going to get worse.

One might as well ask if humanism can be saved from humanists. Enough with the -ism/-ist mentality already. Conservatives should not be lured into arguments over false choices. Life, liberty, and property are what we should be defending. Let God sort out the rest.
