Maybe not. Who knows? Depends on who you choose to believe. The Italian company that makes those high end bags insisted and boasted -- at first -- that Michelle's bag is one of their top of the line 6G models. After a firm White House denial, the company has changed its tune, and now says the bag is one of their low end versions which only cost about 900 dollars, which is still a mighty expensive purse in the world I inhabit. But the way the NY Daily News is reporting it, I'm getting faint hints that despite the official White House denial, and despite the bag maker's quick reversal, the company people are still muttering under their collective breath that the bag really is their high end six grand model. Go figure.
