No franchise that has an exclusive market feels the need to lower their prices or please the customers. As long as the STUPID-ASSED customers keep buying the product all of the lame-assed complaining, whining, fussing, cussing is just a waste of energy. There is no human being alive(or dead, including Reagan himself) that can single-handed UN-corrupt a fatally, terminally filthy, cancerous party.

If the franchise wants to be corrupt; its management has thrown in with competitors to fix prices and gouge customers, and they continue to profit(by the retention of power) thereby(and the mentally and morally weak whining constituents continue to knowingly let themselves be gouged), there is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, zero, zilch, nada that ANYONE can do about it.

For the record, Crist SUCKS! He is not conservative. He would probably win the Presidential caucus in Iowa, which immediately disqualifies him as a conservative since those corn f-ers are worse than Southside Chicago crack moms.
