The platitudes on the need for affordable health care sound nice. I would be wonderful if everybody could see a doctor for every aliment they have.

The platitudes on every child left behind sound nice. I would be wonderful if every child could have one on one attention from a teacher for every problem they do not understand.

Reality is we need money to pay for these services. Taking all of the money from medicare leaving none for the seniors would not be enough. Making everybody who wants a private option pay a $1000 fine would not be enough, even if it did not force them in to the public plan. Allowing nurses and pharmacist to diagnose patients, or allowing patients to self diagnose would not be enough.

I've linked to your post from Jeremiah Films section on <a href="http://www.jeremiahfilms.com/released/WhiteHouse/Obamacare/907151100" rel="nofollow">Obamacare</a>

Wow...and here's part of the reason why our HMO system - created by government legislation - is already going in this direction.

The lack of inspirational waiting rooms is really bumming me out also.
I've decided to open clinics in Grand Central Station in NY and Union Station in DC.
I'm thinking about the Alamo, but hear that it's a bit tatty.
