Global Warming and Climate Change is the biggest environmental issue that we face these days. the long term effects of these environmental changes to a nations economy is quite damaging. there would be a shortage in food supply as well as on water supply too.

In my post What's this "Climategate" fuss all about?, I argued...

This is NOT just a scandal of a few purloined emails; it is the perversion of science to cold-bloodily create propaganda, to justify putting the government in complete totalitarian control of our industries, our economy, nearly every detail of how we live.
. . .
What's at the bottom of all this?

Pure naked power.

A commenter's reaction to that last line prompted "Don't forget the money angle, Paul.", in which I touched on Obama's Messiah complex and concluded with...

What makes him so dangerous is this attitude makes it extremely difficult for him to compromise in the face of reality. Bill Clinton could see the writing on the wall and adapt to changing circumstances as easily as breathing. Obama simply cannot.

So, if you figure on him seeing the light anytime soon; well... don't hold your breath.

I think that last line pretty well covers it.

(PS - I don't think that AJStrata has any peer in coverage of this issue.)

It's been painfully clear to me for some time now that man-caused global warming is BS. It's also becoming more and more clear that just about everybody in the Church of Global Warming knows it's BS, but they don't care what others think because getting new converts isn't their goal.

It would be easy to dismiss these people as the nut-cases they are if not for the toxic and poisonous political agenda that's driving them.

People like Al Gore and others know what they're preaching is BS, but they're using the threat of global warming to scare people into allowing the far left to pass some of the most Draconian controls over industrial production, land-use and personal liberties ever dreamed up.

Pay no attention to what they're saying about global warming. Pay very close attention to what they're doing in the back rooms of Congress and the 50 state capitals. That's where the real Global Warming sausage is being made, and it's going to poison this country if they're not stopped.
