Statists across the political spectrum are quick to demean TEA party activists in any number of entertaining and offensive ways.

However, for those who are feeling a little discouraged over the negativity (ugh, I can't believe I used that phrase. It sounds like something Stuart Smalley might say)...

Remember that the Statist mind craves approval from the group. The thought of separation from the Hive is terrifying.

While Libertarians, Conservatives, Objectivists, Minarchists, Anarchists (the real ones, not the commies in disguise) and all other adherents to the ideals of individual liberty, limited government, and free markets are themselves allergic to groupthink.

So, getting any real consensus is like the proverbial herding of cats. It just isn't going to happen.

On a side note, I prefer the term "statist" over Liberal, because one cannot but listen to the words of Newt Gingrich, David Brooks, David Frum, all the Vampires at AEI, Claremont, etc... Without realizing that they too embrace big-government and its solutions.

Republicans are not conservatives.

I fundamentally reject the Left/Right spectrum as a falsehood; a twisted Hegelian dialectic that will bring us misery and suffering in the form of a <a href="http://freedominourtime.blogspot.com/2009/01/for-two-years-bart-mcintyre-was-deeply.html" rel="nofollow">"Bipartisan Homeland Security State."</a>
